The Art of Dale Fowler
I have loved drawing from the day I could pick up a pencil. My first motivation for car art was in the 4th grade when I was told I couldn’t draw a truck as well as one of my classmates. Of course, I lost the drawing match because the kids judging were all of his friends. Now it’s in my head to draw better.
In high school I really got the bug for drawing and study hall was my favorite time. I took art classes in my Junior and Senior years and of course, my teacher wouldn’t let me draw anything automotive because it wasn’t art to him. That didn’t stop me from putting small pieces of automotive art within the drawings. My big plans were to go to art school in Atlanta, but the money wasn’t there for that. Reality set in got to work for a living.
Artwork became my passion, now I had to figure it out on my own. So, I set out to teach myself by following a couple of other automotive artists out there (before the internet). Practice, practice, practice.
The next step is deciding you’re ready to go out into the world of automotive artists. Intimidating, to say the least, but you have got to step out there.
I’m looking forward to designing something for you whether it be show posters, logos, t-shirt design, or a rendering of your next car project. So if you see something you like here or want to go over some ideas on a project you need, then contact me.
Thanks for looking.
